Honestly, I know it seems like it's a terrible, obvious argument to us, but it is clever in a way. People love to rationalize. Look at long covid as an excuse for... Well basically everything. Blame all the vaccine side effects on some boogeyman disorder and a lot of people will repeat it. "Wait a minute. Why is it only happening in the vaccinated? Oh, because the vaccinated are more stressed because of the pandemic! Of course, we're the real victims here!"

I have lost a substantial amount of trust in human intelligence during this pandemic. My prediction is that they will cover it up, and will be mostly successful.
A 90 year old friend who's been managing an arthritic knee for years with minimal pain just had an episode of excruciating pain shooting up the back of her leg from knee to buttock. She had to go lie down and pray for strength. It passed by the next morning. But she says she's never felt anything like it. She was bullied into taking the Moderna shots so she could give a lecture series here in town. That was about two months ago. Her primary care doc sent her for an x-ray and passed the verdict: arthritic changes. Her reaction was: that's not an answer. That got her chewed out over the phone by his CRNP
I thought I remembered hearing that the shots can cause flare ups of arthritis. The paper whose link is above describes such a case and even though the authors pay the customary and usual lip service to the wonders of Pfizer's vax, they do say it can be a cause of arthritic flares especially in people who already have auto immune problems.
I blame the vaccine for her pain. I'm dreading that something worse may be coming. This woman is the healthiest person I know, didn't want the filthy shots, took them and was sorry. You want to talk about "ppsd"? I think the vaxxed are going to know all about it.
If the risk is to 300,000 people then it is incredibly serious and needs to be investigated immediately. I'd suggest a study to try to find any similarities in the medical history of these people -- what medications they're on, whether they've suffered from other stress related disorder, recent vaccination history, that sort of thing. Perhaps then they could target mitigations -- stopping high risk medications, psychotherapy, immediately stopping any more of that particular type of vaccine, that sort of thing.
Since the vaxxed and boosted are getting Omicron, I'm guessing a lot will eventually get blamed on it. Standing firm in the control group, but they'll never analyze it objectively.
yep, we expected this. meanwhile, in South Africa apparently omnicron is hospitalising under 5s. If you wanted to plant a new "variant", where and how would you do it? In Africa of course, and make it attack under 5s. Scares people everywhere into vaxxing toddlers. Someone needs to "fact check" this story....
I wish people were waking up but I don't see it in the family and friends around me. They can't wait to get their 4th shot. It's going to take a lot more than "a few heart attacks out of 5 billion doses" (direct quote from my brother).

Just to play devil’s advocate. Are we sure this isn’t a symptom of the virus? I do have a friend that about 3 or 4 months after he got the vaccine he got a blood clot in his leg out of nowhere.
