I wonder if there's a correlation between presentation at the emergency room and the prevalence of depression, suicide, drug abuse that indicate worsening mental health of populations globally. People running to the hospital for a sniffle, or standing in line for tests without any symptoms are psychologically damaged. We're creating a generation of hypochondriacs, a natural extension of decades of indoctrination in safe spaces and social conformity by the failed education system.

This is a pandemic of foolishness.

If the original shots (I refuse to call them vaccines now) are a failure, and especially so after a fairly short time, it's moronic to believe the boosters would work better. More is not better.

Of all the people I follow regarding covid (here and in other places) you are the only one pointing out that omicron is not a blessing in disguise.

Admire the fact that you follow your own ideas and data. Honestly don't know how it is going to play out, your data looks solid as always so I am inclined to believe you. However other data seems to suggest that omicron cases might be peaking already. Time will tell I guess.

Dr Chetty, from South Africa, says (and I paraphrase) that Omicron is the variant that you would want to catch since it is presenting so mild. And then there's the Moderna anti-covid chewing gum.

Are Delta deaths still overlapping with Omicron? I know there is no real way to tease this out. I’m just hopeful that the majority of Covid deaths would be from people who stayed on Ventilators for a while with Delta. That would allow for the Omicron to truly be the milder version we hear about.

I’ve also heard about data-smuggling where a lot of vaccine deaths somehow get recorded as Covid deaths, but I believe this is more of an issue in the US than the UK. However, don’t the vaccine side effects often present as Covid-like symptoms? And with such an unreliable test with so many false positives….

Interesting that it’s concentrated in the 20-39 age group. Boosting may have been low on Dec 5th but has been really high in the past couple of weeks. Seven day average is over 800 thousand and they’re still pushing it hard. 20-39 is the age group I’ve really noticed standing in those queues. They really stick out to me so they must be pretty high now

Interesting. So 69% of those infected with Omicron were double or triple vaccinated and the vaccination rate for the UK is 82% of those over 12. So there is seemingly some protection offered by the vaccines? Or am I misreading that? Also, of the deaths I didn't see anywhere that it's indicated their vaccination status, can you direct me to where that's found?

The comparison of Omicron v Delta hospitalisations could need to account for total cases of each in the period. Omicron is approx 70% of all cases now in UK I believe

Speculation: the study from Umeå in Sweden this summer showed how the vaccines efficiency drops off, and this shows how the boosters' drop off. But surely the rate of the drop off isn't static, right? It could be dynamic, increasing or decreasing, couldn't it?

Like what if the initial drop off rate is from 95% protection first week, to 15% week 25 after second shot, and then back up again, and then back down to 15% after 20 weeks, and again and again until you need a shot every week?

Since I don't have any medical background, all I can do is speculate and try to ask questions more knowledgeable people can dismiss, investigate, debate and so on.
